11th Wedding Anniversary
I saw this link on another blog over the weekend. I've only listen to the first one but thought it contained a lot of postive stuff and defiantly worth listening too, even if your not married, so thought i'd share.
I can't believe how fast life is flying by, but I'm so very thankful to have a great husband to share it with. Yeah he's my best friend and we have a lot of fun doing everything and nothing together. He supports me in everyway, in everything I do and that feels great!

End of school program
I tried posting a few videos a while back but had problems. I’ve now figured out how to get them from my phone to the computer. The cute thing about this is every day of school, they gather outside for announcements, say the pledge and sing God Bless America. It is the cutest thing to stand near the young ones who sing loud and proud!
Cookie Cake
Justin requested a cookie cake for Fathers Day. So the kids and I whipped one up Sat night and we ate it for breakfast this morning.
I’ve made a few in the past but nothing great so I goggled a recipe and ended up trying this one from Emeril and it was great! Probably had something to do with TWO stick of butter.
Three Ring Circus
The circus was in town this weekend and Daddy decided we’d spend Father’s day at the circus since the rest of our weekend was already full.
Ahhh….Before the circus starts they let you down on the floor for little performances.
There was way too much going on to even attempt a picture but we tried and failed.
Mom and Dad were suckers for souvenir snow cones. But the kids LOVED them so that’s what really mattered, right?
Elizabeth keeps telling everyone there were eight elephants, there were really only seven but either way she like the large group of elephants.
This was the end of the show. As we were leaving we asked the kids what was their favorite part and they said the dancers in the Boo Boo LSU colored clothes!

Pirates and Princesses
One of the kids friends had her birthday party today, each of our three kids are all close in age so they kindly invited the whole family. So we ended up with two pirates and a princess today!
We are thinking the pink just doesn’t do well on the pirate!
Made Elizabeth’s day!
Thanks for the wonderful party! The kids loved it!
Choot’em Elizabeth
Elizabeth got too much enjoyment from holding this snake. Unfortunately for the snake Justin was unable to release it from the cucumbers vines it was stuck in.
Our 47” rat snake got entangled in the cucumber mesh.

Pattern…
Are you sensing a pattern. It seems like all I post lately are pictures of Luke eating! I guess that’s just the phase we are ate. We have tomatoes coming out our ears so the other day we decided to make homemade spaghetti sauce…which turned out great! As you can see it was enjoyed by all! E helped make turkey meatballs to go with it too – that girl loves to cook!
Big night at tball
Tonight was E’s second to last game. They handed out pics and I thought this one turned out real cute. After practicing with Mom and Dad at home, E gave it a try with coach pitch today. Her first at bat didn’t go so well so she went back to the T but the second time around she had great success and I think she was truly excited about it. It only took all season but she’s finally getting the concept of leading off and the need to run fast – thanks to them finally calling her “out” and making her sit down a few weeks back. I know they are just kids and have to start somewhere but it’s hard to teach fielding without the concept of getting out. Her tball coaches have done a great job with the team and seam to have a good balance.

XYZ
Summertime fun
Chevron has a “park” down the road from the plant and they have about four company parties a year there. It has a playground, swings, and splash pad for the kids. Justin always teases the kids that he has more fun at work and I think they might believe it since they think this is daddy work. It’s kid heaven. Today they gave each of the kids a can of shaving cream for extra fun in the splash pad area. Endless Capri suns, chips and ice cream just put it over the top. Mom and Dad didn’t mind the crawfish today either!
Luke just enjoying the sun.
Batman loved shooting the shaving cream.
Not to be out done by the older kids, Luke got right in on the fun!
He would kiss the crawfish but we couldn’t get him to hold them.
In heaven…
Luke found him an “older women” to follow around.
And Logan’s favorite – the endless soft serve ice cream with all your favorite toppings!

Love of food
I know he looks malnourished and all as he screams because I paused to cut up his hot dog before giving it to him. (And take a picture but who’s counting the seconds.)
See the him here…screaming to get food! We never move fast enough for him.
Don’t mind my messy pantry but this captures most mornings, E just sits back and stares try to decide what she will have for breakfast.

Oyster Festival
My husband, knowing how much I love oysters, made sure we made it to the New Orleans Oyster Festival this year.
There was Oyster decorating for the kids.
Luke sporting the Oyster hat.
I have never seen so many charbroiled oysters at one time before and they were delicious! We trying the charbroiled, fried, oyster pasta, and of course I had to have at least one raw on so I did any oyster shooter!
My beautiful daughter catching a ride with Daddy.
Cheesy tourist picture of the cathedral and Jackson square. We also squeezed in a trip to the aquarium but the camera battery died so I didn’t get any good photos except on the phone.
