Swimming with the dophins

Splashing!

We lost count of the number of trips she made back and forth between the water and her "hole".

Only Papa can get away with this trashy picture.

After a little warm up Logan took to the water.

Elizabeth and I were bouncing around when this dophin swam up within 15 yds of us. It was chasing lunch. I got a bigger kick out of it then Elizabeth.

Good times

We had a great visit with the family. As always the few days flew by but were packed with fun.

Hey Uncle Bry Bry!

Bry balancing all three kids in the pool. Zoe came over to play with Elizabeth Saturday night. Maybe one day she'll be family!

"Great" day

We drove up to Lake Placid today to visit with the Snell's. This is my great Aunt Lucile and Uncle Horace, my grandfather's sister.
Aunt Flossie helping with "projects".

This little girl was out for the count!

This one wouldn't sit still for two minutes for fear he'd pass out like his sister.

Playing with Papa's camera.

Us and great grandma Snell.

The ladies chatting.

We made it!

A three year old's heaven!

I think it took about an hour before it was pool time.

Balanced diet

Well, we were suppose to have Elizabeth's birthday party with her friends today but the rain won out. We moved it up a couple of hours then realized it was still bad outside so we moved it a second time to Sunday. Our friends probably think we are crazy but what fun is a crawfish boil and bounce house in the rain.

Sabotage...that's what my neighbor is trying to do with my weight loss! Fresh blackberry cobble. Of course after she delivered this Friday night we had to go get vanilla ice cream to go on top. YUM! It was just as good the second night too! What better friends can you have!
Balancing act...everything we eat isn't so bad for us. This is the pile o greens fresh from the garden. We a great salad for dinner. Eating various types of fresh lettuce in a salad give it sooo much more flavor than any store bought lettuce.

Snoozing

It's not very often I'm able to make it into Logan's room without him waking up...he must have been wiped out.
We found her like this the other evening...we were all outside playing/working in the yard. I knew she had gone inside but I didn't realize she was going to sleep. She was out of it. Logan was hitting on her, I offered to move her and got no response so we just left her there for over an hour. Her little knees were red when she woke up.

Beach time

Well not exactly...but Elizabeth thinks so. She wanted us to keep pouring the bags straight on her. Daddy built them this sand box. Hopefully they will spend hours in it over the summer!
One week and counting until our trip to Naples!

Silliness

Ninty percent of the time Elizabeth and Logan play well together and have lots of fun!

Easter = Hope

Mimi and Papa came to visit...

and so did Auntie T!

Elizabeth was not up for the family poses at this point. She was dancing, hoping, singing...

Can you see her personatlity in her pose!

The message at church Sunday presented well the story of Easter. I'm sure I won't do it justice but basically he was talking about how Easter brings us hope. Hope that we will see our passed loved ones in much better place. Hope that we can all do better in our lives each day by the choices we make.
Checking out her easter basket goodies.
Sharing her chocolate cross with buddy.

Comparing baskets before digging in...she saw the $1 bubble wand in Logan's basket and almost freaked thinking she didn't get one.

An egg full of candy so early in the morning - I must be dreaming.

Hey What you looking at? I found this egg fair and square - it's mine and i'm not turning loose!

Happy Birthday, Elizabeth!

Sunday our little girl turned three. We let the early morning focus on Easter and what the bunny had brought and then moved on to her birthday for the afternoon.
Icing, my favorite part!
It's finally my turn to blow out candles!!

Elizabeth and her big girl bike. Tonight we took a bike ride all the way around the big circle in our neighborhood. Besides the curbs and steep drive ways she did awesome.

Saturday night we decided to give Elizabeth one of her presents...I'm not sure who enjoyed playing it more her or Daddy. Then again maybe that's why he picked it out!

Hippity Hoppity

... Teresa came to visit!

Prizes

The kids showing off their "prizes" from Chuck E Cheese. We took Elizabeth there Friday for a birthday treat!
