Friday night lights!

It was a wild Friday night at our house! Kids got these light up necklaces from Mimi. So we turned the lights out and had a dance party.

100 days

That's right the kids have one hundred days of school complete! Logan got to dress like a 100 old today. He had a powder puff coming from his head all day!

All done

Some one has gotten in a bad habit of not eating dinner. We have been very lax on him but when he eats nothing then gets made at no bed time snack night after night something's got to change.

So last night dinner went in the fridge and he ate it for lunch after realizing mom wasn't caving in the game.

Once he was done you would have thought he won a prize.

January…

A few random pics to share.  So much for life slowing down after the first of the year.  We’ll be in Disney in less than three weeks!

This past Sunday we kicked off Mardi Gras with our first parade of the year.  We’ll try to catch a few more before it’s over.

Oh, and Super Bowl is also squeezing in town!  Justin’s working a both at some point over the weekend and depending on the crowds we may try to make it downtown for that just to take in the super bowl experience!

Elizabeth won the Principles award this quarter.  She had a great report card and was also ask to begin “Quest”, which is a program offered through the school to give added curriculum.  We are very proud of her.

She also decided she wanted to give gymnastics a try so we started those classes one night a week this month.

This little boy had a great report card also.  Only room for improvement was on handwriting/work neatness.  What can we say, he comes by it honestly, and the teachers will start to see a pattern with the King Kids I’m sure.  He does great with his school work and is also sharing new things.  On a recent car ride, out of the blue he tells me that Adam and Eve where the first people God made.  Yes that’s correct, I told him.  He then says, and then God made the alphabet.  Not sure how he put that together but he defiantly thinks about things he learns and tries to put it all together.  He’s excited about t-ball this spring.  He’s Dad volunteered to coach and we are trying to get several of his school friend together so it should be a fun time.

Justin humored me with a picture.  I asked to take this because I realized after getting Christmas pictures printed I had none of Justin!  Not good.

Jackson’s eyes are remaining blue for now…we shall see.  We can’t remember how old the other two where when theirs changed so we’ll just wait and see.  Either way he’s a cutie.  He’s also a screamer but what can you do other than pray he out grows it sooner rather than later.  Could make for an interesting Disney trip!
