As you can see Wonder Woman get her strength from the magic sugar in her bag o' goodies.

Little E and the "pumpkin"

Can you find the "pumpkin" in both pictures???

Halls of Justice

The local police stopped and asked Wonder Woman for some crime fighting help. Little "wonder woman" E, was happy to assist after the small donation of yet another sucker.

Dumb Dumbs and other suckers mmmmmmm!!!

Little "sucker monster" E unwrapped and tried just about every sucker she was given tonight. needless to say Mom had to give the sticky (sugar high) Little E a bath after our trick or treat rounds.

Halloween

My first score of candy for the night!!! - Little "Sugar rush" E

Storytime Halloween Party

Wonder Women is ready for action!! Last night we all headed to the library for story time. Elizabeth seemed to enjoy being all dressed up and left all parts of the costume on for a while but had to let the head band go before the night was over.

Elizabeth and several of her playgroup friends...I believe she is starting to recognize her friends when she see them now as she points and grins.

Elizabeth can not go to the library without a stop by the coloring table.
Daddy wanted to get a picture of Elizabeth and her "pumpkin". They made a pumpkin patch on the wall with all the color sheets but as you can see she wasn't too happy. Mommy told her she could go get a box of raisins off the snack table since she was really to young for most of the games. Big mistake...it wasn't "snack time" yet so when she reached for them they kept pushing her hand away. I was half paying attention and about the time I realized they weren't just teasing her she started pitching a fit. She just doesn't understand "wait" yet especially when it comes to food.

So Wonder Woman decided to fly home for snacks and bedtime...more Halloween too come.

Little Brother update

We had another dr appointment today. Once again strong heart beat and measuring right on track. Good news for mom: no weight gain!! That doesn't mean moms belly hasn't been growing though. It's defiantly "out there" these days attracting lots of comments from strangers such as the one I got last week at the LSU/AU game from the guy next to me - "your not going to go into labor tonight cheering are you?" No mister that's not my plan. Or my other favorite " you look like your due any day now" - No 8, 7,6,5 weeks...at least we are getting closer. I go back in two weeks and they start checking for progress or lack there of. The papers are all signed and moneys all paid at the hospital so we defiantly getting to the home stretch.
It's also official, we are done with travels for a while. We made our last trip of the season to Auburn this past weekend. The cooler weather was great since each week seems to be a little more challenging on my body - but we made. Unfortunately we won't be making it to the AL game this year...and I've been threaten by my husband not to go into labor until after the game since he doesn't want to watch it from the hospital room. This is really all just wishful thinking that I'll actually "go into labor" on my own this time.

Little helper

Elizabeth doing her part to get her brothers room ready!
For two weeks while we had all the painting "stuff" in the room that's all Elizabeth wanted to do was paint the walls. If she was ever MIA we knew were to look for her. Now that the paint brushes are all put up the room has lost it's fun.

Trick or treat

Treats it is...Elizabeth got a Halloween care package from Grandma and Papa.
She picked out the eatable treats first!
New jeans -just in time for our cooler weather!

I'm not 100% what's inside this pringles can but I have a feeling I"m going to like them!

Elizabeth carefully inspecting each item out of the box!

Mini me

Elizabeth wants to help with EVERYTHING these days. We have to be careful because like above we may trample her if we aren't.

What's up?

Elizabeth having a conversation with pumpkin man.

More zoo fun

Elizabeth enjoying her first dumb-dumb sucker. With the warm sun Elizabeth opted not to wear the complete outfit. Hopefully next week we can manage the whole outfit.
Watching the giraffes eat.

Look at the monkey Dad!!

Boo at the Zoo

Wonder Woman wasn't so sure about everything when we arrived at the zoo Sat morning.
But after she got her first treat she...

...she quickly figured out that orange ticket = treat.

A few of the lines were a little long but well worth the wait.

Here's my ticket lady, give me some candy!! - Little E taking a liking to this whole Halloween thing.

Happy Anniversary!

Mimi and grandpa celebrated their anniversary with 1000 plus people at Baton Rouge's Boo at the Zoo - how romantic!! Elizabeth (and mom and dad) were very lucky they choose to spend their weekend here so Mom and Dad could go to the ball game.

Baby boy

We had another easy appointment today. Dr said we had a growing baby. Everything is still good and going smoothly. I put on two more pounds the past two weeks which is right on target. I still have 8 lbs to go to get to my weight with Elizabeth. Hard to believe we are only 7wks away.

Sweetness

Now days if you catch Elizabeth in the "right" mode she can be such a sweet heart giving away hugs and kisses and just melts our hearts.

Lighting of the pumpkin

After bath time we took Elizabeth out to see her finished pumpkin all lit up - she wasn't so sure about it. She much more fond of it in the day time.
She was up for kisses with Auburn!

Hugs

Elizabeth was trying to give Auburn hugs. This use to be Auburn's safe space but as you can tell that is no longer the case. Some days we find piles of Auburn's toys on her bed. Elizabeth will just keep bringing new ones in hope Auburn will play.

Pumkin' Carving

Sunday night we carved a pumpkin. She had played ball with the pumpkin around the house for two days and wasn't quite sure what we were doing. But she was proud of her self when she pulled the stem and the top came off!
It took alot of convinening to get her to stick her hand inside.

But once she did, she didn't want to stop. She proceed to start putting seeds back into the pumkin - that's when it became bath time!

LA Pumpkin Patch

On the way to church we decided to stop by our community pumpkin patch.
This is as close as we get to a pumpkin patch in LA. Elizabeth was in awh of all the pumkins.

She especially liked the small guords/squash since she could easily carry them around.

Big Girl!

Elizabeth woke up this morning with her left eye swollen and a whelp on her thigh. I was like great the dr is going to think we beat her. Elizabeth had her 18 month check up today and as always the dr said she was a healthy happy little girl. She did send us home with instruction for Benadryl for her eye - needless to say she's sleeping now. I had hoped we wouldn't have to go back until Dec for the baby's 2wk check up but when we got there they were like - it's a day shy of 6 months since her last hepatitis shot so you'll have to come back another day to get that - so we have to kill another morning with another dr appointment -yeah!! You'd think this is something they could check before hand. The good thing is after this, Elizabeth is done until her 2 year check up!

Filling mom's shoes...

Elizabeth already has an obsession for shoes...it is one of her most clearly spoken words and she's always trying on Mom and Dad's. This is one of the first times shes managed to get them both on by herself and walk around of awhile. I think the shoes complete the outfit which is either shrinking with each wash or she's getting taller.
