Smart boy

You may look at this and say silly boy is using it backwards but that's not really the case. He runs it into something until stuck then walks his way around to the other end and pushes it the opposite direction. Back and forth and back and forth. Stopping only to dance!

Don't Compare

Ok so your not suppose to compare you kids but how can you not. It amazes us everyday how very different they each are! All these are around 10m.

Cruising

These pics don't do it justice...but as we were coming home tonight we passed the Carnival going down the river. We passed it of course in the car but about twenty mins later I caught it out our back fence. Next time I'll have to get the zoom lens out. The top pic you can see the tail just to the right of the street light and the bottom pic you can see both the front and back of the ship. They have lots of lights strung between and then all the "window/balconies" are lite up too but you can't tell from this pic at about a mile distance.

Full speed

He doesn't believe in sleeping much...guess life's to crazy around here for that. But when he does he's too sweet!
This is how he carries everything so he can continue to keep up with his siblings.

Dad trying to win him over...I think it might work - he was in heaven!

And we wonder why our dishwasher is broken?!?

Poots

Way back when...when Luke was just a few months old, Justin would entertain him by saying various poot, poots, pootypoots, etc sounds and Luke would just cackle...and unfortunately it's stuck. The kids and parents alike find ourselves calling him poots instead of Luke. Good news is we confirmed he does respond to Luke so at least he know his real name.

Can you imagine what people think when they hear me calling him Poots in public?

Mighty Miss

This was a ship passing as I left out our house today. The Miss. River is across the street from our subdivision and even after almost a year I think it's neat to see these HUGE ships floating pass. You can even see them sitting in our dinning room. The cruise ships are the best at night because they are a lit up with pretty lights just floating by.

Got Milk

This little boy was exhausted but anxious to get him some chocolate milk.

Drinking chocolate milk always reminds me of visiting my grandparents in WV. They owned a small little grocery/ market and they sold and distributed Shenandoah milk and their chocolate milk was the best!!

Green monster

Back around Christmas Logan started riding Elizabeth's bike real good. Too late for a Christmas present though! And since then when we go on walks he trys to keep up with her on the smaller bike but just stops in the middle of the road to cry because he those little tires just won't go as fast as E! And the past couple weeks have been daily fights over who can get to E's bike first! Justin had today off so I suggest a special trip to the store for a big boy bike for the big boy - and he is sooo happy!

Before the cold

After school the kids love coming home and running around outside. We played hide and go seek, football, and road bikes. Elizabeth was preparing for the rain she could see in the sky!
Black face from tying to fix a tire on the baby bike.

He just stands there, afraid to take that step!

Magic potion

Moms worse nightmare. Open the dryer to find everything w green and blue polka dots! Two school uniforms, special Minnie dress (that shouldn't have been worn before disney) and a couple pairs of pants those are the things that are already soaking in hope of saving! These are the left overs that I'm not concerned about. Let's hope this array of chemicals works magic!

Burr

Freezing temps have kept us indoors more than we like this week!

Eat the Duck!

So Monday was quite an exciting day - Auburn won the National Championship by beating the Ducks! The game ended up going down to the last second and raised our blood pressure but in the end the TIGERS won! In order to prep for the game we all in our orange and blue complete with tattoos!
What a cutie!
Our cheer for the day was beat the ducks, eat the ducks, beat the ducks, eat the ducks! It worked because all three kids loved the duck and Auburn won!

Do you think Justin drew any attention in is office Monday??

As any one who knows us knows we are avid Auburn fans win or loose! We love Auburn for Auburn not just football but it sure makes for a fun football season - especially when you live in enemy territory!

Eat your greens!

Despite the really cold weather we've still got a garden hanging in there. We planted broccoli and brussel sprouts back in the fall. We ate the broccoli a while back but still get a few wild pieces here and there. The brussel sprouts are slow growing but starting to come in. Everything is better w bacon of course. E loves the brusel sprouts and Logan actually eats the broccoli - just the florets but w him well take what we can get. And Luke, well he eats both. That kid is a bottomless pit who will eat ANYTHING!

Randoms of the boys

Maybe he could walk if we'd roll up his pants!
Logan looking for trouble.

First time with spaghetti...I'd say he liked it!

Paint on the walls!!

What's more fun than painting on the walls!!!

9 month well baby

Luke got away w one shot and an easy blood check. He too passed all his mile stones for the dr. She said that four tooth is right around the corner.

He has sloan down on the weight gain which she said is typical for BF babies. He's 21.5 lbs and 27.5 in. This puts him at 75% for weight and 50% for height.

I love the pediatrician I found but hate the big clinic she's in! Thank goodness we don't go often! It's just all for formal, by the books , and impersonal - and I like structure! I'm debating taking E to the family doctor when her bDay rolls around - well see.

Big Three

Logan had to get three shots at his well visit and they wiped him out!! He did great though. Passed all the " tests". He weigh 34lbs and is 40" tall - a very average size kid.

He has such a sweet and caring heart. He almost cried while the were squeezing Luke finger for standard blood draw and Luke was happy and laughing at the time.

Thank God for healthy kids!

The "Talk"

A few months ago I brought up a dreaded topic in our - Disney. Needless to say not Justin ideal vacation spot but because he love me and his kids it was much of a discussion. Usually there a let down after Christmas but with this trip less than two months away - yeah. I'm not a crazy Disney fan myself but I am excited to share the experience w the kids.

E took this pic of the TV the other day and said she was going to show Donald she watches him when we get there!

Published

We got the 2010 volume of our life in today in the mail. I'm so excited and pleased! It's all our blog posts from 2010 printed and bind in a book! I defiantly will be back tracking the past years, '06-'09. It's like an instant scrapbook. It's given me new motivation for keeping the blog going strong and recording all the special moments in the kids lives!

I had looked into this a few years back but the online company at the time required a lot of manual manipulation on my part, aka time, which I don't have...this was ordered in less than 15 mins! That's more my speed. Sharedbook.com

Late night ride

After fire works the kids decided it was a good time to ride bikes. This is Logan's Buzz Lightyear scooter he got for his birthday and he loves it.
My girl riding her bike in flip flops in Dec.

Hey don't forget about me sitting over here in the stroller by myself!!

Happy New Year

Justin excited to have a helper, at least until the first loud boom then she kept saying how she needed to stay back so she wouldn't get hurt!
A Miller/Roll tradition of jumping chairs...yes you jump from the current year into the new year. This was the first year I've done it with Elizabeth. I told them about jumping chairs and then around 10:30 Elizabeth asked when we were jumping the chairs because she wanted to go to bed. So we let them celebrate with sparkling grape juice a little early but they were none the wiser...and still woke up at 6:30!

You want me to do what??

Logan went more for the crawl approach!

Happy 9 months Luke

Luke was nine months old yesturday. He's getting closer to that 1 yr mark than baby and that makes a mama a little sad.
He's had a busy month popping out teeth. He has got his first three this month - making his sleeping habits less than ideal. We take what we can get and deal with the rest. I keep reminding myself it doesn't last forever.
He got his own big boy chair for Christmas since he was fighting the other two for theirs. Speaking of the others he loves just being in the same room with them while they play. And while they don't play with him too much they do keep an eye out for him.
He's drinking less and eating almost all table food now. There are many times when he eats more then the other two. We really are not sure where he stores it. Yeah, he's a chunck but that's just baby fat and he's really slowed down on the weight gain. We go next week for his offical 9 m check in.
