The "Bean" Queen

This was round two of Elizabeth's diner last night...it started out with eating a whole hot dog. ( I know, not the healthiest thing but it's quick and easy when you have a starving, screaming little one). Round two soy beans. Back a few weeks ago, Grandma Snell took the girls out to Tsunami's, a local sushi restaurant. We got an order of soy beans as an appetizer. Needless to say, Elizabeth like them and ate probably half the bowl. So then while doing some shopping the grandparents saw soybeans and we fixed them last night along with trout and once again Elizabeth was a big fan. She ate a ton of white beans for lunch also. We can't seam to find a bean or pea the girl won't eat. So the bean's equal out the hot dog in our eyes!

Human body

Next stop was the small intestine....followed by many other parts that mom and dad thought would never end!!

After the animals was a tour through the human body. Here Elizabeth is intently listen how to care for all these new teeth she keeps getting. (Yes, that a tooth she's sitting on)

LSU Ag Magic

Is this where my milk now comes from? - Little E was quite intimidated by the size of the cow.
I want to be a "cowgirl baby" - Little E Cowgirl ups to ride the horse (yes its fake)
This is more my size - Little E warming up to the younger cow
Little E and the cow almost exchanged kisses before it was decided that might not be a good idea

Little E was not that impressed by the chicks, as she was still thinking about where her milk is now coming from.
All in all the LSU Ag Magic was a good time and the Little one seemed to enjoy the sights and smells, mom on the other hand was not that fond of the smells, especially from the pigs and cows.

Long day

No she's not praying...someone couldn't quite make it through diner tonight without a cat nap. I'm not sure what she did today to wear herself out so much but for her to leave strawberries on her plate - you know she's tired. It only last 30 minutes and then she was ready to go again.

Shades!

Who turned the lights out?? Little E -- Look at the cool shades my dad bought me! And sometimes she actually wears them for an extended period of time. We went to Sam's after buying them the other day and she road around on Justin's shoulders sporting the shades through out the store.

Mashed Potatoes

Like Mother like Daughter, they both love the comfort food. One of them has better eating skils than the other though.

What wont she eat???

Odd enough Elizabeth went crazy over eating smoked trout last night (must be the texture??). For breakfast she had french toast and lunch some toppings from a supreme pizza (plus cheese, goldfish, and strawberries). The only food she has turned her nose up at so far is scrambled eggs. Little E has tried more food in one year than her daddy had in 20 years.

Just a swingin'

Elizabeth likes to swing and well, just be outside. We will be trying out the pool again today to see how that goes.

Little Miss Climber

Our little Monkey now tries to climb on anything, including tables, chairs, dogs, people..... you get the point. Needless to say the dog still runs and hides from Little E

Money, Money, Money

Even @ a year old Little "gifted one" E understands what those $$$ are inside her birthday cards.

Small talk

First off, Elizabeth wanted to thank EVERYONE who help her celabrate her first birthday, both in person and with distant wishes! I think is safe to say Elizabeth was the center of attention for her entire birthday "week".

Monday the fun came to an end with her one year check up. A finger prick and four shots later she was ready to head home for some lovin' and R&R! The finger prick was a breeze, she actually laughed at the nurse while she did it. We got a few screams out of the shots but I think it was really the "drama queen" putting on a good act! She is 23.5 lbs and 29.75 in, a healthy active little girl. She gave the dr hugs and kisses so it must have not been too bad!

Today we had to say good bye to Grandma and Grandpa Snell. We will all miss them ( for different reason) Elizabeth will miss the devote attention during the day and mom will miss the help around the house! Like always it's good to visit and sad when they leave.
