Slacking

I went to down load some pictures today and realized there was only one new pictures. We'll try to do better!
Today we went on a fun, free outing to Bass Pro. We spent at least 20 plus minutes staring at the fish tank! We then went to grab lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant. Logan had us and the lady next to us cracking up. He started out eating chips and salsa and then moved on to dipping his binky straight into the salsa. (Yes, it has a kick, it must be the Cajun in our kids, they like it spicy!)

Our favorite time

Bath time has become our favorite time of the day...this kids because they absolutely love the water and ours because it means it almost bedtime!
If you click on this picture and see it full screen you can see his eyelashes are longer than the hair on his head! Boys always get the long lashes!

Hair or lack there of

Elizabeth's hair has been growing a lot and she's even getting better about brushing it!
Logan's hair's been growing also but only his mom and dad would notice since the rate is pretty low...maybe half an inch is 14 months! We both commented today at church as four newborns passed by, all with more hair than our son!

Sweet times

Mardi Gras time

We attempted to make a home made King Cake for the start of Mardi Gras. However I don't think my yeast worked since it never really rose like it should have. Instead it turn out more like a pound cake but it still taste good and Elizabeth still got to do the sprinkles which is all she care about.

Chicken bones

Small seat

Logan forgot to read the instruction that said this was a push toy and not a riding toy.

Thanks GP

Not only did we get a case of paper towels last week, we got this cool box that was entertainment for the afternoon. Elizabeth got upset when Justin started put garbage in it to throw out with the trash.

Dry

...more climbing!
(excuse his lack of pants, we were getting pj's out of the dryer for bedtime)

Better view

There's more than one use for a case of beer! Yes, Logan will climb on anything.

SMILE
Elizabeth couldn't take the excitement any longer.

Fighting over lap space.

Why do kids like to roll around on the floor and climb on ANYTHING!
Faster Daddy!

Peekaboo!

I can stay awake another hour!

Chillin' with Papa.

Ma and her four great-grandkids. You'd think it would be hard to keep four kids awake but I swear everytime we went to take a picture one of them was sleeping. Sarah was just about out when we decided to take this hence the disapproval from her on taking the pic.

All clear

Logan got the all clear from the pediatrician on his ears. Finally after a month we are 100% healthy! He weighed in just over 25lbs! He also got the second half of his flue shot with barely a whimper! What a big boy!

Elizabeth and I were playing outside last night and she came up and asked me "you want to tailgate with me mom?". Its official we've taken our 2 yr old to too many ball games!

Puddles

Don't tell Mom and Dad we are playing in the puddles!
Yes, it's matching outfits from Aunt Leslie!

Blowing in the wind!

Elizabeth has been all into running or as she says "exercising".

Cousins

We finally got to meet Sarah. Logan is a whopping 13 days older than her. It was great seeing all the cousins playing together.

Logan and Sarah favorite game with each other was "binky swap"!

It surely wasn't my kids that started this mess in Ma's kitchen.

The girls, Catherine, 5, Elizabeth 2, and Sarah 1.

All Smiles!

Despite the circumstances it was great seeing everyone and getting the little ones together.

On the road again

This is a welcomed sight on a four hour car ride with two kids. They both did good. We got some new videos from the library and all was well.

Victor Guarisco

Eight red daisies for "Pops" 8 grand kids and 4 white daisies for his great grand kids.

On Tuesday of last week my grandfather who we all called "Pops", was called up to his proper resting place in heaven.
My grandfather was laid to rest in a pecan wood casket in honor of his years he spent working on his side job - a pecan orchard.
Besides being mayor of Daphne for over 16 years and a pillar in the Christ the King Catholic Church, Pops was one of the greatest influences in my life. So many stories, life lessons, and all the support I could ever need.
He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
We took quite a few pictures when the family was together and we will post those throughout the week.

Mimi and Papa came to celebrate Christmas on New Years and brought these cool chairs that are just our size!
Under the hair is a beautiful little girl. Her hair has really started growing lately but she is going through a no pony stage. I keep threating to chop it off if she doesn't get it out of her face but neither of us really want that.

Oh yeah, his other favorite place!
Mommy's little helper.

All smiles

Logan is at his happiest when he is naked and climbing!
