Our Early Christmas Present

That's right...although she's too young to understand Elizabeth will be getting a little sibbling in early December for those you don't already know. We had our 13wk check up today and all is looking well. Heartbeat was a healthy 160 and due date is December 7th.

Thanks

Thanks Mimi and Grandpa for a great weekend. Little E

Weekend recap

Memorial Weekend

As most of you know we headed down to Gulf Shores for memorial weekend. Justin's parents rent a place and Teresa and Arthur also join us. It was a nice relaxing weekend and the weather was great - nice breeze made it cool but hard to take the little one in the water. Yes, even though there are no pictures, we did go to the beach a couple of times but dad didn't want to get sand on the new camera. We planed to have a beach photo shoot the day we left but then it started raining. To summarize the beach for Elizabeth - "Sand - good, waves (big waves) bad!" Her Snell blood is showing through her nice dark tan!! (Yes, I put 50SPF sun screen on before going to the beach). I swear her hair lighten up also.

Once again we have lots of pictures so we decide to take the easy way out and put a video together. This will probably become habit since with the new camera we have triple the pictures per outing.

Hope everyone had a good memorial day!

Enjoying the fresh air

Where am I?? Elizabeth checking out the new scenery in Gulf Shores.

My first boo-boo...

Happily jumping on the back of the couch as dad practices with his new camera!!

The results of turning around and trying to walk off the couch. There was no sign of injury when we put her to bed that night but she woke up with this scrape on her nose. We really thought she hit her forhead more than her face but it looks like rug burn. It appeared to get worse for several days but now almost a week later it looks to be healing.

Little E earning her keep

"My mean parents make me do chores already, can you believe it???" - Little E trying to put on an act for the child service people.

Silly Dog

"Silly Dog beans are for humans!" - Little bossy E

Beans!!!!

As you can see Little E was a wonderful help picking beans today(like normal she benefits from the fruits of someone elses labor). As usual there is nothing she wont eat. She chewed on the raw beans all afternoon long. We will see if she likes them cooked also in the day or so.

I love my Mommy!!

Happy Mothers DAY

Little E wants to say Happy Mother's day to all her Great-grandmaothers (Ma, Pearl,Roberta), grandmothers (Mimi, Grammy), and her one and only Momma. Thanks for all you do! I hope all of you realize how special you are to us!!! - Little E greatful for all she has been blessed with.

Crocs

Saturday afternoon Mimi and mom went to the shoe store and found Elizabeth these cool crocs. I just thought they'd be good for outside in the garden and dirt since they wash easily and allow us to keep "a good pair" of shoes. The funny thing is how much Elizabeth likes them. She'll wear them all over and if one falls off it needs to be put back on immediately.
After the shopping trip Justin and I went to the crawfish boil (the main reason for the trip). I believe it was the 10th annual and it was a good time as always. We stuck around and watched the not so exciting fight. Two nights in a row 'til midnight makes for a long weekend for us old folks. Thanks again to the chambers

End to a good weekend

I think this sums up Elizabeth's weekend. Grandpa Snell would have been proud as she pollished of her first dipped cone from DQ yesturday on the way home from Mobile.
A big thanks to Andrew and Stephanie for a great weekend. Friday night we stayed in Biloxi - and no our luck wasn't great so we had a short night at the tables. Yes, this was my first night away from Elizabeth, and I think we both did pretty good. It was nice to have some kid free time and catch up with old friends. Five of us there lived in the CDV Ext in Auburn our freshman year of college - hard to beleive that was 12 years ago.
