Water, Water, everywhere.

Day one at the Beach

Logan working on his tan.
Where did my feet go??
Elizabeth splashing around in the gulf.
Logan taking splashing lessons from his big sis.
I love the sand!!
Elizabeth did great at the beach today. She was walking around in the water between all of us and loving every minute. It helps the gulf down here is like a lake! And only a kid can love sand so much to just lay down and attempt "sand angles".

We made it...

After 10 hrs in the car Sat we made it to Naples!! Mean mommy and daddy only let us stop once for BBQ lunch, gas, and potty breaks. Elizabeth and Logan did great!!
Uncle Bry Bry was very excited to see me!!
Daddy, why am I so white compared to my uncle??
Elizabeth wanted Papa to print a picture of her so she decided to pose with the "cat". The picture is now on the fridge only with the dozen others that were already there.
Logan's first pool lesson! Hope you don't mind the drool Papa!

Once again Elizabeth asked to have her picture taken with her brother. He wasn't as willing this time around. I think he is starting to learn!

At Elizabeth's request

Logan was trying his hardest to pull up in the basket!
Upon Elizabeth's request I put Logan in the basket with her and took her picture.
Sweetness...
Too funny!!

Logan's first wedding

Notice the "uncle" holding the bottle stayed out of the picture.

Logan and Leslie
Chillin' in the grass watching his crazy daddy and his friends.

Beautiful evening!!

My little redneck with her Carhartt bandanna she got free last weekend when we went to the grand opening of the new tractor supply store!! Yeahaw!

On the move...

Logan is getting all over the place these days. No more laying on a blanket for him. He's rolling, scooting, pushing...just about everything but hands and knee crawling. He even managed to get himself out from under the coffee table.

Happy Anniversary!

To Us! We are excited to be celebrating our 8th anniversay today. I couldn't ask for more in a husband and while 8 years isn't bad it's just the begining of our journey together as husband/wife, mama/dada, and best friends. I'm looking forward to seeing what life has planned for us!!

Justin's father's day wish came true - Elizabeth was good in church!
Who needs the Cookie Company??
Father/son bonding time with the new Wii which Elizabeth decided to give Dad on Friday as soon as he got home instead of waiting until Sunday.

Alas, finger food.

Logan enjoyed his first teething biscuit!
And Miss priss wanted her picture taken as well!

No nap.

This is what happens during dinner when a 2 year old skips their nap.

The card that keeps on giving

Elizabeth has just loved this card since we bought it - it plays 'Kung Fu Fighting'. So the scene last night was her in control of the music and daddy dancing "roboticly" while the music is playing and "freezing" every time she closed it. As you can see she thought it was hysterical. Unfortunately our video camera is on the fritz so we couldn't capture it on video. Also, notice her stylish training pants inside out, on the outside!

Mean, mean Drs.

Logan lost his smiles for about two minutes today when he got his five shots! Poor kid. Don't worry his smiles are all back! He tipped the scale at 18lbs 13oz and was 27.25 in! She was all excited because he pulled up from sitting to standing on his own. She suggested starting mashed dinners in a jar to introduce meats - yuck!! Those are the worse smelling things in the world so we won't rush into that! All and all he is healthy and doing great. No more shots until 1yr !

Garden Fresh!

We made a raspberry crisp for desert tonight with raspberries fresh from our garden. We've been picking them for a few weeks but this week they really ripened up! All the rain had hurt the rest of the garden this year but we did have enough tomatoes to make homemade salsa this weekend also.
