Ants...two days later and little E still has a swollen hand.
Organizing the personal library. We had so many books in so many locations we decided it was time to orgainze them all so we picked up a new book shelf today. It worked good at bed time and Elizabeth went a picked out a single book!

Elizabeth first pair of "heals" - dress up of course!

Aunt T got the kids matching monkeys with monogrammed shirts. Well I was attemping a picture...Logan was not laughing but scream because his sister put him in the choke hold. Little does she know he will be bigger than her sooner or later!

They really do love each other!

Tight quarters

For some reason kids love climbing in small boxes,
pots, or anything else they can cram into.

Super Baby

The kids got a basketball goal for Christmas. Logan loves playing Aire Baby for the dunk!
Elizabeth checking out a new book.

Elizabeth either checking out a present or scoping out which one next.

Logan was right in the middle of all the fun. Having a big sister to follow around, he was a little more into the present thing than Elizabeth was the previous two years. After getting her doll, she would open things and say, "Here Buddy, this is for you", where it was or not. She was being very sweet Christmas morning.

What's next??

End of a fun week

Two Benadryl slowed Elizabeth down enough to cuddle with Papa his last night here. Yeap, after a week visit Grammy and Papa had to head back home. We hope they enjoyed the visit as much as we did!
Farmer Logan

Look Mommy my baby is peeing! (This is what Elizabeth asked Santa for and she was elated to find it under the tree Christmas morning)

After presents Elizabeth was ready for a snack.

Two years ago, Elizabeth spent Christmas riding the horse and now it's Logan's turn. Thanks Uncle Bry Bry for the reusable toy!

Preparing for Santa

Letter to Santa, cookies and milk for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer I think I'm ready for Santa.
Birthday hugs are better than birthday paddles.

I have time for one quick picture before it's time to ...

dance, dance, dance...

Elizabeth buggied down and sang a live perform acne for Grammy and Papa.

Chocolate

I'm not sure who enjoyed mommy's birthday cake more, Logan...
Elizabeth...

or Mommy.

Random pics...

Happy little guy.
Eating is what I do best.

I'm just chillin'!

Enjoying one of many cookies we have from the cookie swap Sat night.

Slowed down for a quick pic before church Sunday.

Logan had a follow up today on his ears. Now both are infected...hopefully they clear up soon! Good news is they don't bother him at all.

Nothing for Christmas

Elizabeth had her debut showing tonight at the Little School. We are proud parents but I think she did pretty good for the first time in front of 100+ people.

2 Peas in a Pod

Full bellies

Saturday night we went to catch the BR parade. About half way through it we called it a night and headed to dinner at our favortie mexican resaurant. The kids both ate a ton of avacados, chips and salsa, chicken and ground beef.

Full bellies, two parades, makes for a good nap!

LA style

Sat was the big Zachary parade and as always GP's paper towels were the choice throw!
The kids loved the candy.

Elizabeth and several of her school friends waiting for the next float.

I think I see it coming...Elizabeth looking for the floats.

We had to all bundle up becasue it was pretty cold that morning.

Happy 80th, Ma!

Happy Birthday, Ma. We love you. Hope you have a very special day.

Growing one year old

We took Logan for his shoots last week and 1 year exam. He was 22.5lbs and 29.5inchs - 50% for both. She said he looks to be a very healthy boy and doing everything and then some a one year should do. He did have an ear infection - #2 so he's back on antibotics. Good news is this week he's gone back to sleeping most of the nights!! That makes for a very happy mom! I don't know what to do with my new found sleep, well except for blogging.

Tonight Logan had the Auburn shaker out and was shaking it. So we started singing a few cheers...once we stopped he kept saying go, go, go while shaking it. So we are on our way to brain washing another tiger fan!

Mean Santa

So you'd think if you took a job as Santa, the "jolly old fella", a pre-requisite would be "enjoys kids". Well evidently not because the not so friendly Elves told us so.
Once the kid in front of us was done, Elizabeth asked if she could go talk to Santa. Of course, we've waited our 30+ min go for it because we all know you'll only get a few minutes. The "elf" came and reminded me the kids are suppose to stay behind the line until she comes to get them because Santa doesn't like the kids getting around him?!?! Hello, you signed up for this job!! If I was going for a portrait I might be upset at Santa rolling his eyes (double click the pic to blow it up - it's pretty funny) in the pic but with Logan screaming it made for a comical picture!

Stats

So the snow stats were 5.5 inches offically in Zachary. They said it's a once in 70-80yr event! Looks like it was our lucky day!

Made the News

Elizabeth made it in the "BIG" Zachary Plainsman...it reads "Precious two-year-old Elizabeth King enjoyed breakfast with her mom."

More Santa fun

Four Santa sightings later she finally tell him, well her, what she wants for Christmas. A black baby doll!

All the videos are from the Zachary Christmas Open House. The city organizes it every year and it's a fun little low key outing.

We did it...

Logan sat with Mrs Clause long enough to get a pic! We are trying to see how many pics we can get with Santa this year. This is the first we paid for...$2 bucks.

Cookie monster

Elizabeth never misses an opportunity for cookies and icing.

The kids and the white stuff

Elizabeth decided she needed round 2 in the snow this afternoon.
And Logan decided that snow was for eating??

Of, course you have to make a snow man!

Logan wasn't sure what to think about the snow this morning. Round 1 for him was short and sweet. I think it was too cold for him.

Elizabeth had a blast for about 20 min this morning but then she said I'm cold and want to go in. That's a lot for her because she's always complaining about being hot.

Yes, we all took turns making snow angles. Bad idea in jeans but since it's only once in 10 years I wasn't too worried.

Here's I come Mom.
Why are you throwing it at me Dad?

Retaliation!
