Hey mister camera man...

can't a girl have five minutes to eat without pictures? Elizabeth dined on a Snell staple meal of venison, peas, and mash potatoes. Her favorite was the peas which her mom hasn't fixed her before so we may have a new menu item.

Bear, Bry-Bry and Me!

Guess who came to dinner tonight...Bear. And he doesn't run away quite as fast as Auburn.

Splish, splash...

What a big bath tub!! Yes, she's laughing, not screaming. We decided this was the best shirt to risk bleaching in the pool!

Wiped out

Two flights, 4 hours in airports and a hour car ride make for one tired baby!

Welcome to Naples!

Elizabeth and mommy made it safely to Naples!

A sign of things to come.......

She cannot talk yet but she already knows how to babble into every phone we have. This trait comes from her mother....

My present to my Daddy

"Check out this sweet ride I got my daddy for getting old ... turning 30. My mom says it will help him get in shape and I will get a smooth ride at the same time." - Little E in her new Chariot

Happy 30th!!!

What does Dad's hat say - "i don't wanta grow up" . Elizabeth helped Justin celebrate his 30th birthday today. We thought Elizabeth may give the best gift of all and say "dada" but not quite yet. She did give plenty of birthday kisses to her daddy!
Happy Birthday Daddy, mom and I love you....Little E

Spanish Town Parade this past Saturday

We took Elizabeth to the Spanish town parade on Saturday (alot like the Comic Cowboy parade in Mobile only 10 times the size and a little more humorous)
I had to take a picture of one of the 10-12 floats poking fun at Nick Saban going to UAT, the hate for UAT is growing quickly in Baton Rouge.
Before the parade we let Little E try her first tamale, and as you can see she enjoyed it. Only thing she has turned her nose up at is the soy milk mom tried to give her (I cannot blame her)

A Taste of Sunshine

Since it was such a nice day mommy let Little E try her walker out outside. Little E loves to be outside and will soon have a better tan than her father.

Little E and the dishwasher

Little E will come running everytime she hears the dishwasher open. We are not sure what she sees in the dishwasher, but next to the dog it is her favorite toy!

Battle of the Bay 5K

"My mom and Dad drug me to another cold 5K on Saturday morning, and I got to eat Popeyes red beans and rice." - Little E

Another parade down

As you can see Little E gives her all begging for throws at the parades. She passed out on the walk home and would not let go of her prized moonpie.

OOP Ball

I wanted to give a great big Thanks! to Ma (my grandmother) for watching Little E while Heather and I attened the OOP ball. Thanks MA!

OOP Parade (Mimi's parade)

"As you can see I was excited about attending Mimi's OOP parade. My mom made my dress for the parade. My great grandmother, "uncle Jack", my cousin Kelsey, grandpa, my parents, and I all had a good time and caught all kinds of goodies! As you can see I was a little tired on the way home. Mimi has already put me on the waiting list to be a rider in the OOP paprde in 20 years!" - Little Mardi Gras Mambo Queen E

P.S. Moonpies are yummie!

Little E's Weekend

This weekend Little competed in her first 5K with mom and dad (dad finished in 24:01, mom finished even with Little E's devil fits) In Little E's defense it was just under 40 degrees at race time. That same night Little E attended her first Mardi Gras parade the Krewe of Jupiter in Baton Rouge. Again she had to brave some cold weather. She seemed to enjoy the bands at the parade and the "loot" when we got home, as you can see in the video below.

First Mardi Gras Parade Loot - Krewe of Jupiter

Keeping warm...

Elizabeth and mom waiting for the parade to start. Elizaebeth must get her patience from her father...she got quite upset waiting for the parade but once it was rolling she seemed to enjoy it.

Burrr...

Elizabeth wondering what these crazy things are mom put on her hands.
With Mardi Gras season upon us and several night parades to attened I'm sure all this cold weather gear will be put to good use! More pictures to come of that experiance.

Yum...

We started a bad habit. It only took one lick for Elizabeth to decide she really likes chocolate ice cream. She had a fit when it was gone. On a side note this picture also shows how much her hair is coming in these days.
