Last weekend we headed to LSU to see Dora. She was attending the LSU/Auburn gymnastics meet. Said to say but Dora and the free cotton candy were highlights of the night since the Auburn girls didn't have a great showing.

Krewe of Jupiter
Baton Rouge had their first parade of the season last night in 32 degree weather. Nothing keeps us away though. We bundled up and headed out and honestly it wasn't that cold. The kids had a blast. Logan used his charm to get these large beads and lots of stuffed animals for him and his sister! The kids had fun playing with all their prizes "junk" today. I hope they disappear tomorrow while the kids are at school!

Beautiful day
We went and played at the park. Logan wore shorts and skinned both
knees. Should have just let him sweat a little bit.

Layers
Layers of stains on my sons clothes that is. Paint from school,
yogurt, avacado and now blue and pink ice cream. This is why I don't
bother changing their clothes, I barely keep up w laudry now!

What Santa Forgot
Conversion on the way to school this morning...
E: Mom, I need to talk to you.
M: Sure, what??
E: You know, Santa forgot to bring me something.
M: Really, what?
E: My toy Rudoph.
M: Maybe you forgot to tell Santa that's what you wanted.
E: No, mom I told him.
M: Maybe he forgot, he did bring you the plane and candy you asked for.
E: Or maybe he ran out of time to make it.
M: Could be. (Lets end this conversation)
E: Or maybe he took it to the wrong house.
Sure honey whatever makes you feel better about it! Just when you thought your kids had a great Christmas the truth comes out!!

Deductive logic
I'm a coke-aholic. I love a cold coke in the morning. While pregnant I've tried cutting back on the caffeine so I'd buy the non-caffeinated. But realized I was still drinking to much of that yummy sugar syrup drink and need to cut back. I'll still have one if we go out to dinner but I told myself I wouldn't buy any for the house and that will make a big difference.
So in the morning I've been doing coffee/milk -decaf of course. I love the flavor of coffee but not really a fan of plain, hot coffee. So point to the story...
This morning Elizabeth asks: " Mom, what ya drinking?"
Mom: " Coffee."
E: "Coffee is bad for kids, we can't drink it"
Mom: "That's right Elizabeth"
E: "So why are you drinking it? You have the baby in your belly and you don't want the baby to drink coffee"
Mom: " You are right Elizabeth, but it is decaf so I think this one little cup will be ok!"
You see what I have to put up with...little miss smarty pants already!

New year, new job
So Justin started his new job. Elizabeth calls it the red, white and
blue job. Apparently enough paper has been made and now daddy needs to
make gas. Next she says dad will make jelly beens. We have no idea
where she gets this stuff!

Little miss independent
What's next, a omlete? I came out of the shower to find Elizabeth
eating what she told me was "a heathly breakfast" milk and yogurt.

Baby update
How far along? 26 weeks 2 days
How big is Baby? The books say around 2lbs and 15 in.
Total weight gain: pushing 20 but I try not to check that too much!
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? yes, if you count old ones! yuck
Sleep: Alright, but the baby is starting to do gymnastics in the middle of the night to prepare me!
Best moment this week: For a breif moment I enjoyed sitting in church with the baby kicking and two kids loving on me. Then fear of what we will do with three in church - oh my!
Movement: I can tell the baby is getting bigger and stronger = more kicking!
Food cravings: Anything sweet.
Gender: Surprise!!
Labor Signs: None, thank goodness, way too early for that.
Belly Button in or out? Still in but starting to flaten.
What I am looking forward to: Ultrasound the 22nd maybe the baby will coroporate for a profile pic this time!
Milestones: Hit the 100 day mark a few days ago. Scarey to think less than 96 days away! I need more time!
