We've been picking raspberries all week long. We offered Elizabeth some but she turned her nose up at them the first night. The second however they must have been sweeter because she took a liking to them, especially when she figured out she didn't need mom and dad's, she could go pick her own. We had to be careful of this though because raspberry bushes have very sharp thorns.
Yes we realize some may find growing fruits and vegtables in their back yard a little "redneck" if you will. But we have always enjoyed it and now it's even more fun to share it with Elizabeth. She loves helping to pick things although we are still working on the differance between red and green tomatoes!!
