Elizabeth was awarded her first certificate today from the Zachary Library. As part of the summer reading program each child was asked to read a minimum of 10 books (which isn't real hard at this age). So she turned in her reading log today and she got this certificate and a bag of other goodies such as free kids meals, fries, bowling, museum and zoo trips, etc.Earlier in the week she attended Farmer Minor and Daisy the reading pig. http://www.daisyminor.com/ Basically it's a traveling show that promotes reading. Elizabeth petted the pig but wasn't so sure about giving it a kiss! One of these days we'll remember to take the camera to storytime.
