We ventured out to our first Mardi Gras parade of the season. Unlike seasons past with all the bundling and laying of clothes, today we were wishing we had shorts and flip flops on. Waiting in the hot sunshine for the parade was brutal.

When’s the parade going to roll….
Alast…beads, a little candy, some toys, and more beads! We made it through 11 of 20 floats (plus bands and dance teams) before we all agreed it was time to go.
You know its been a good day when you have three kids passed out in the car!
