Sunday morning we did breakfast at Court of Two Sisters. And while this may not be the most flattering pic of Mimi I think Elizabeth's expression is hilarious.

Aquarium
We spent the past weekend in New Orleans celebrating Papa King's 60th b-day!
They had guys in the tank feeding and cleaning the stingrays.
Logan loved getting up "in" the tank. Elizabeth on the other hand wanted nothing to do with it.

Again Logan would have gone swimming in the tanks if we would have let him.

New house
As Elizabeth says, "They finished our new house so now we can sit on it." After a couple rounds with finishing the concrete, they just need to seal it and we are done! Even in the dead of summer it makes it bearable to sit outside. We can't wait until it cools off some, we'll be out there every night. (And yes, the upper left hand corner is a cable box my husband just had to have so that will be coming in time)
Tri
The long awaited finish line! 1hr 43 minutes later! The swim took forever to get in the water because they did a staggered start. So 45 minutes after the first person I'm hitting the water. That's why if you look close at the clock it says something around 2:3o hrs. Had to sprint pass the old lady at the end of the race but it about killed me, just didn't have a lot of juice left at that point.
Going from the bike to the run...I was glad to be off the bike at that point but not glad the sun decided to come out.

Racing
Elizabeth was inspired by all the racing excitement today and kept talking about it (and everything else she could think up) this afternoon. I asked her and Logan to help with laundry. They will sometimes bring a piece or two from the dryer to the couch for me. Well today Elizabeth turned it into a game or "race". Logan would get it out and hand it to her, she would run it to me in the living room and then run back to the dryer. This went on and on and on...a few times we got two pieces at a time but most was one at a time. I had just enough time between each piece to fold them. They emptied the whole load. Then I asked her if she'd "race" her small pile to her room and she said " no, I'm exhausted from my race!" What a crazy girl.
