Logan enjoyed his stroll in the wagon but I'm sure next year he'll be running after his sister!

Friends
Elizabeth was stocking up on groceries as she played in her own little world. When we asked what she was doing she said she was having a party for her friends. She's been all about sharing everything with her school friends these days, unfortunately that includes germs, which has led to a head cold. Which she proceeded to share with her grandparents last weekend. (we hope you are feeling better soon!)
Logan got this "get well" truck from Mimi but Elizabeth some how thinks it's for riding.

Don't mind Elizabeth's lack of pants...no excuse, just a lazy Sunday afternoon.
On time
They age of funny smiles. As Justin says, "sleeping ghosts", aka homemade decorations a two year old can make!
We are both very punctual people and most of the time arrive early places. Sunday morning was no exception, in fact we were ready nearly 20 mins before we needed to leave for church. Since they kids were all dressed up and the weather gorgeous, we decided to take a few pics. I'm not sure who is more rotten, our kids or our pumpkin!
Yeah
Logan had his post op appointment today and got an all clear. The cyst was confirmed to be a benign dermoid cyst.

Scar
We offically took the bandage off today. It still amazes us how large of a cut they had to make. The cut still does not seem to faze Logan one bit and appears to be healing slowly. He is a trooper to say the least.
Due to the size of the cut we are toying with the idea of making him Franken baby for halloween.
Place your vote on whether Logan should be a Giraffe or Franken baby for Halloween.

Higher
While Logan was having fun at the hospital Elizabeth got special play time with Grammy and Papa. They ran into some friends at the park.
Going down the slide...
Loves swinging!Go Grammy!! Elizabeth and McKenna pushing Grammy "higher".
Logan is recovering so good becasue he's got lots of prayers and lots of hugs and kisses.

Warning - Graphic post!
So tonight we had to put ointment on Logan's cut for the first time. We were both shock at the size of the incision when we pulled back the dressing. He fussed a little but more about us holding him still then us touching it. He made it through the night last night without a problem. I've given him a little Tylenol but he as shown little sign of pain which we are thankful for. We have a follow up visit next Tuesday so until then Mom's trying her best to keep him from ramming under the tables, drawers, blinds or anything else he wants to climb under.

Projects
Finally...
Yes, that is dirt on his mouth! He decided he needed to taste it.
Helping daddy weed the garden. It's in sad shape. The only thing growing are some rutabagas and tomatoes, both volunteers. If anyone knows anything about when to pick rutabagas (for those that even know what they are) let us know.

It's cooling off some down here in the swamp of south LA.
Treat please!
While on vacation a few weeks ago Elizabeth decided she was going to start using the big girl potty. We were all excited until we got home and she started filling up the pull ups again. I decided I'd talk with her teacher to see what she said and she said "Elizabeth is a bright girl and knows exactly what she's doing. Bring some extra clothes the first week just in case and well help." After talking with her teacher at school we decided it was time. After a couple acciendents the first couple days at home she realized we weren't going to cave and put a pull up back on. She was having issues with #2 but we've had sucess with that the past two days also. We haven't slowed down too much and she's been fine out and about also. Since she doesn't understand germs she likes using "new" potty's.

More beach pics
This is the life...Logan planning life as a beach bum though his parents hope he aspires for more!
Smash!! Elizabeth liked daddy building things just so she could smash them. At one time Justin and I had at least 20 little bucket sand castles up and both kids went after them until none were left standing.
