Wait for me

Logan enjoyed his stroll in the wagon but I'm sure next year he'll be running after his sister!

Wicked Witch

Happy Halloween!

Witchy poo...

and Frankin Baby! Who busted his lip outside before we even got started adding fresh blood for his costume.

Where's the candy?

Where to next?

Seeing double.

And even McCain stopped by!

Library fun

The library has their annual Halloween party so the witch had to come out!

Cutie pie!
Ms BJ in her cat costume (our librarian)

Lots of little gobblin's
Hi Mom!

I can't see

Because the TV isn't big enough Logan decided to create a front row seat. Despite being up all night he was quite happy and playful this morning which is more than we can say for Mom and Dad.

Friends

Elizabeth was stocking up on groceries as she played in her own little world. When we asked what she was doing she said she was having a party for her friends. She's been all about sharing everything with her school friends these days, unfortunately that includes germs, which has led to a head cold. Which she proceeded to share with her grandparents last weekend. (we hope you are feeling better soon!)
Logan got this "get well" truck from Mimi but Elizabeth some how thinks it's for riding.

Don't mind Elizabeth's lack of pants...no excuse, just a lazy Sunday afternoon.

On time

They age of funny smiles. As Justin says, "sleeping ghosts", aka homemade decorations a two year old can make!

We are both very punctual people and most of the time arrive early places. Sunday morning was no exception, in fact we were ready nearly 20 mins before we needed to leave for church. Since they kids were all dressed up and the weather gorgeous, we decided to take a few pics. I'm not sure who is more rotten, our kids or our pumpkin!

Yeah

Logan had his post op appointment today and got an all clear. The cyst was confirmed to be a benign dermoid cyst.

You've got mail

So we know why kids love the holidays...it means mail. Thanks to all have sent cards and packages...Elizabeth loves getting mail of all sorts and finds fun in them all!

Jack o' Latern

As you can see Little e had a good time carving her Jack o Lantern.

Scar

We offically took the bandage off today. It still amazes us how large of a cut they had to make. The cut still does not seem to faze Logan one bit and appears to be healing slowly. He is a trooper to say the least.
Due to the size of the cut we are toying with the idea of making him Franken baby for halloween.
Place your vote on whether Logan should be a Giraffe or Franken baby for Halloween.

Higher

While Logan was having fun at the hospital Elizabeth got special play time with Grammy and Papa. They ran into some friends at the park.
Going down the slide...
Loves swinging!Go Grammy!! Elizabeth and McKenna pushing Grammy "higher".
Logan is recovering so good becasue he's got lots of prayers and lots of hugs and kisses.

What are you looking at?

Logan got into "sissy's" dried fruit and milk.

Warning - Graphic post!

So tonight we had to put ointment on Logan's cut for the first time. We were both shock at the size of the incision when we pulled back the dressing. He fussed a little but more about us holding him still then us touching it. He made it through the night last night without a problem. I've given him a little Tylenol but he as shown little sign of pain which we are thankful for. We have a follow up visit next Tuesday so until then Mom's trying her best to keep him from ramming under the tables, drawers, blinds or anything else he wants to climb under.

Logan has successfully had his magical unicorn horn removed today. Everything went fine.
Update: We finally made it home around 5pm. Logan is going strong and Mom and Dad are wiped out from a day at the hospital!

Happy ann

Happy anniversary "Old Kings".
Thanks for the fine example you have set for us.

Ridin' the pony

Like sister...
...like brother.

Candy please!

Grammy and Papa made it in town last night so we drug them along for the trip to the zoo.
The men waiting on the ladies.
Now where do I go for the candy?? Elizabeth attentively listen to the lady's instructions.
Logan spent most the time fighting a nap in the stroller.

Boo at the Zoo

Can you tell "witch" one is Elizabeth?
Hey - let me down so I can get my share of the candy!!
We made the annual trip to Boo at the Zoo in Baton Rouge - 3rd year for Elizabeth, 1st for Logan.

Projects

Elizabeth loves doing "projects" and they've been busy at school! We decide to decorate her door with the pumpkin, spider and bat! Next week they are doing skelatons and pumpkin shirts! No wonder Elizabeth loves school!

Finally...

Yes, that is dirt on his mouth! He decided he needed to taste it.
Helping daddy weed the garden. It's in sad shape. The only thing growing are some rutabagas and tomatoes, both volunteers. If anyone knows anything about when to pick rutabagas (for those that even know what they are) let us know.

It's cooling off some down here in the swamp of south LA.

Treat please!

While on vacation a few weeks ago Elizabeth decided she was going to start using the big girl potty. We were all excited until we got home and she started filling up the pull ups again. I decided I'd talk with her teacher to see what she said and she said "Elizabeth is a bright girl and knows exactly what she's doing. Bring some extra clothes the first week just in case and well help." After talking with her teacher at school we decided it was time. After a couple acciendents the first couple days at home she realized we weren't going to cave and put a pull up back on. She was having issues with #2 but we've had sucess with that the past two days also. We haven't slowed down too much and she's been fine out and about also. Since she doesn't understand germs she likes using "new" potty's.

A reason to cry

Bad ball game, missing sissy (she skiped out on the game),the threat of rain, oh so many reasons to be sad yet he survived his 4th game pretty well.

Gas

Only 2.88 a gallon. Sad to say that is the biggest excitement of this trip.

Help.

AU football has reached new low.

What is that!!

Elizabeth standing in shock over the poor taste in deco our house has had this past week! She agrees its time for "aubie" to back up. We hope that will bring some offense or luck - we'll take either - back to Auburn.

My two pumpkins

They had pictures at Elizabeth's school so we wore our "fall" outfits. Elizabeth has been very exicited about getting all our decorations out and playing with the pumpkins.

Twinkle toes

So Logan has been working on his walking all month working up to 6 steps at one time. He still can get around faster crawling but he's not araid to take steps. He's pretty fast if he has something to hold onto.

Tough boy

Yum, yum...Logan covered in chili. He loved eating all the beans out of it. Notice his arm band...we got his preop blood work done this morning. I wanted to hug the nurse when it was done she did such a great job! He did flinch when the needle went in but never cried. Mama's tough little guy.

Hmmm...what's better chocolate cup cake or chocolate icing??

More beach pics

This is the life...Logan planning life as a beach bum though his parents hope he aspires for more!
Smash!! Elizabeth liked daddy building things just so she could smash them. At one time Justin and I had at least 20 little bucket sand castles up and both kids went after them until none were left standing.
Are you looking at me or the sunset?
That's a little cool on my bottom!!
Logan loved the water and made a be line for it every chance he got.

Elizabeth loved the sand crabs...luckily for the crab he got away!
