Mardi Gras
Went ventured out into the artic weather to take Logan to his first Mardi Gras parade. Needless to say 40 degree weather is not what little Monkeys want to stand in while waiting for floats to roll by. Lucky for us we could park close to the parade route.
After the parade we took the frozen monkeys home to defrost. All in all it was a cold and sometimes changing experience.
Little E and the Whiz kid are holding the beads hostage until MIMI decides to send them some MOONPIES!
Happy MArdi Gras to all!

Thanks to all!!!
We are so blessed with thoughtful family and friends. We just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has so generously welcomed Logan with baby gifts. They are all much appreciated!
Go Tigers!!
Auburn tigers that is!! We went last night to support Auburn men's basketball team as they played LSU. Needless to say we were 4 of about 30 Auburn fans in a very the empty coliseum. Both teams were 0-2 in the SEC going into the game so there wasn't much hype to the game. It was fun though. Logan got to see he's first Auburn basketball game and they pulled off the win (a surprise after starting off 17-2 LSU in the first half). Elizabeth kept pointing out Aubie (aka Mike the Tiger from LSU) during the game. But her favorite part of the game was the MnMs daddy bought at half time!

Happy 1 month!!!
That's right, Logan was 1 month yestyrday - my how time flys!! I'm going to try and take monthly pics with the football to show how quickly he his growing. As you can tell he's about the size of a football right now. He starting to get a round belly and is starting to follow things with his eyes.
Elizabeth is spouting off new words everyday, including her name today!

Weekend visitors
Yes, we have set a date for his baptism and all are welcome. We are having it April 13th. So we'll have a birthday bash on Sat the 12th followed by a baptism on Sunday. I'm sure a crawfish boil will be included one day. Justin's planning a fishing trip for Friday. If any one's up for a trip, let us know, it's bound to be a good time!!
Baby number 3
No, no, don't let the title fool you. I'm talking about Elizabeth's baby doll. She has no name but has only the finest in baby accessories - swing, play mat, bouncy seat, etc...Logan has to fight for his own toys. Elizabeth is a great "mom" who will "nurse" her baby when its hungry and walks around with it in the Hot Sling. It's funny but we do find it amazing how much she picks up on.

Elizabeth had to make sure Logan played with his Christmas presents so she piles them on him!!

Elizabeth is a very bossy little girl and here she told her grandparents to sit on the kitchen floor with her - and like grandparents do they listened!
Later that same night I was messing around in Elizabeth's room after she was in her crib. She proceeded to point at the door and say "Mommy, out". She had had enough and wanted to go to bed.

Happy New Year!!!
WAR EAGLE!!!!!!
Please ignore the green blob in Elizabeth's mouth. We tried to get her to take it out but after 8pm that's hard to do!
We all supported Auburn last night as they pulled off a win to end the 2007 season. Logan stayed up late with his parents to finish the game and ring in the new year. We ended up celebrating the New Year's for several different time zones over the course of the night.

You can't read Logan's shirt real well in this picture but it says "Shhhhh, I'm watching the game with Dad". Thanks Cindy for the fun onsies!!
