On Tuesday we played tourist with Grandma and Grandpa Snell while visiting Avery Island. It ia a salt mine and home of Tabasco. They do all of there bottling at this one location. We learned that tabasco is aged, and they use old Jack Daniels barrels. They also have "Jungle Garden" on the island that we checked out while there. Most of the flowers are not in bloom because of the time of the year but we still enjoyed the fresh air.
We had a great visit and hated to see grandma and grandpa leave but they had to head back to Florida.
"Thanks again Pops for all the fruit, the pears and apples were my favorite!" - Little E eating the last pear from our fruit basket from great grandpa "Pops"
"Thanks uncle Bry Bry, but next year I will be ready for the real thing. As you can see I am gifted and already tamed the wild pony!" - Little E bragging on her natural riding abilities, which she showed off to the entire family.
