Heather cannot thank her parents enough for buying Little E a drum and cymbal set. Little E and Daddy have a great time banging them together and marching through the house. Mom however tries to hide the drum and claims to have a constant headache.

Present but not a Chrismas present
The Gift
This was the first present Little E ran to and without a doubt her favorite.
For the past week Heather and I have had to eat about every plastic food toy known to man.
Lets just say the grill has been used for crackers, real chesse, cheerios, and just about every real food Little E can sneak onto it. Auburn has figured out to check the grill for food evertime she comes inside.

Mile stone alert!!
Just had to share...Logan rolled over tonight from his belly to back - twice!! I got the video camera out after the second time but at that point he said enough for tonight.
Christmas round one...
Justin's parents and sister where in town the 23rd and 24th so we had Christmas with them Sunday night. This art easel was one of the first gifts we have allowed Elizabeth to open after several days of telling her no, don't open that. So she tore into. As you can tell it was tough work seeing the package was bigger and heavier than she. She has already completed 4 master pieces to be auctioned off soon for college tuition!

Too big??
Logan can't escape the picture torture his sister also went through. We thought - Christmas stocking how cute. Well he either needs a bigger stocking or a smaller tummy!! At only a week old he has out grown his Christmas stocking.
He had his 2wk follow up - yes really 11 days if your counting. He weighed in at 8lbs 12 oz so if all the dirty diapers aren't proof enough that he's a growing boy the scale is. Ironically, that's what Elizabeth weighed at her 2 wks appointment so he's still a little ahead of her in the weight department. Logan got a clean bill of health and we were reminded that this time of year is RSV season so be careful where you take him! Well head back at two months to start shots!!

Who's who

Everybody keeps saying that Logan looks like Elizabeth, I personally dont see it. Here some pictures for every to draw their own conclusions.
Well maybe they look a little alike.....
Daddy teaching Little to share his diaper duty

Being the great Dad that I am I decided to start teaching Little E to help share the "load" of changing Logan's diapers. We have a few safety wrinkles to work out, but we are making progress. Unfortunately the "gifted one" is now obsessed with changing diaper on all of her stuffed animals, because they smell like "peeee". Soapbox

Little E has started preaching from her pulpit these days. Not sure what propaganda she is spreading but we all pay attention. I think in this picture she was rambling about the US dependency on foriegn oil or why her animal crackers are stale. Hard to tell really.
Hard Working Mimi

As you can see Mimi had her hands full, working hard to entertain Logan. Notice in the last picture Mimi started losing her mind trying to entertain Little E ( please note this is after 30 minutes of dancing to the cottoneyed joe truck with Little E)Friday, December 14, 2007

A ford truck???
The ride home
Like every baby known to man, Logan enjoyed riding in the car seat and was not too excited about getting out of the car seat. Little E proved that she can still barely fit in the old car seat (sorry no pictures)
What to do in a hospital for five days????
You can let Little E tickle her brother, teach Logan to be a couch potato, Wrap Logan up like a burrito, and teach him to pull your finger. Honestly there is not much else to do. You can pace back and forth of the 15ft room (you can pace back and forth 352 times for a mile which takes about an hour and 5 minutes - yes the hospital is that exciting). Or you can give inappropriate nicknames to all of your nurses and laugh about it (butch, ratchet, ditsy, snaggle tooth, aunt jamimia, and miss personality - in no particular order) For all you soon to be parents I expect some better useless wisdom after your hospital stay.
Grandparents = happy
Chinese Torture bed....
"Its a beaut Clark" - Cousin Eddy (check you movie history for this one)
Thats right this is a chair, no wait its also a bed, but wait theres more.....Its a freaking unhumane torture devise used by "Woman's hospital" to make the husband feel the pain after child birth. If you read the news, you will have noticed this devise was used by the CIA in Cuba to bring the terrorist to their knees. If you have not read about it, then I blame the CIA for destorying evidence of toture and turning these so called "beds" over to Woman's Hospital (aka manhater inn - you should have seen what they did to poor Logan -it is a miracle he can still whizzz) Notice the nice worn seat, that is for the "extra lumbar suport".
I know poor daddy is what you are thinking - if you are then you are the first to notice.
